t-tops?

alright so i just bought my car a couple of months ago and i have t-tops on it but the problem is that the driver side i cant take off.the first rain of the season that we got water was leaking straight through the locking part of the t-top.so the next day i went to go take them off and the whole lock came out so now its stuck in the lock.and i have no way of getting it off.

any ideas?

Remove the black plastic trim piece. You should be able to do this with the T-top still on the car. There should be three posi-drive(like a phillips) and a torx for the release handle. That will expose the latching and locking mechanism. If I remember right, the lock is just held in with a clip.

before removing the trim piece, you need to unbolt the handle. I think it's a torx bit, # 10 or 15. from there, I don't remember exactly what to unbolt next but you should be able to figure it out as you go along.
