What's this thing (in door)

Looking inside my door I found a piece of plastic that was broken attached to a rivet. It was below the pin that rides on the rear vertical track. What does it do?
I have a lot of in and out motion at the front of my window when not completely up, how do I correct this?

The thing at the far right in the picture.

Thats not a peice of plastic, that is whats left of the rubber bumper on the bottom of the window regulator track. It is so the window doesn't rattle when it is all the way down inside the door.

I think the bumper is still available from GM.

That makes sense. Anyone have the part number? I still can't get the front of window to sit in far enough.

just get a rubber bump stop/ table leg thing from Home Depot, drill out the rivet and screw it on.
