Pics of the functional fiberglass hood ?

Does anybody have any pictures of the underside of the 82-83 SMC factory fiberglass hood, i need to see what the setup looks like, also if you have pics with the "flaps" open that would be great too !!! thanks

So far this is the best pic I've found,it came off Ebay I think.I don't have any of my '83 that I can post,well really i don't have a way to post them yet.I'll keep looking.Hope this can help you.

yea i couldnt really find many pics of the "functional setup" that were close up, but now i understand the diamiond shaped thing attached to my hood...... Thanks for the pic, anybody else ?

The car pictured is missing the underhood insulation.I can tell you the the air door assembly mounts to the hood as complete assembly(if you haven't already had your's apart).All that's involved with the underside of the hood are the mounting points and the cutouts for the "air doors".If I'm reading the wiring diagram correctly the ECM controls the solenoid that operates the doors.I'm assuming it does this from voltage readings from the TPS.
