Does any know where to get a new leather oem shift boot? Are they still available or are good condition used ones the only option for oem?

Thanks for any input!

I used to see the boot as part of the shifter plate. The assembly, IIRC, was very expensive. The 93-96 boot itself is $122.95 in the Classic Industries Cat. I purchased a VERY nice leather boot at a bone yard for $10. I sold the original one, which was in decent shape, in the classifieds.

I figured that would be the case. Mine has one small rip, but I'd like one to find a perfect one.

got mine from tpi parts off ebay. don't remember the price but it wasn't bad, about 49 delivered and it was NEW.

they shipped REALLY fast and i have had the same result with other purchases.

of course they now have an ad at the top of this page so you can look there too.

I bought a boot from a guy on ebay... actually, I bought 2, one for my GTA and one for my IROC. The one for my GTA was vinyl, just like the original, and looks very good. The one in my IROC is leather, just like the original, but has a very different grain, and the top where the shifter handle sticks out is different. It looks nice, but if you're building a concours-correct car, this won't fly.
