I've come down to two different ideas for how I want to paint my Firebird - it'll be orange either way. Idea # 1 is to paint it like a 1969 Z/28 in hugger orange with the two white stripes. The second idea I got off of my buddy's Chevy truck. He has an orange truck, he believes the name of the color is Montana orange. You may have seen if if your town's public works had any orange Chevrolets. I don't have any pictures, but it's a very cool orange. Can't say I've ever seen a third gen painted this color.

Does anyone have any orange Firebirds they could post? I'm especially curious to see one with stripes down the middle. Thanks lots
