Has anyone installed other seats aside from Gm in their cars?

Just bought a 91 Formula 350 and I realized something I forgot/forget sometimes. Which is that GM seats have to be the worst seats when it comes to ride comfort that I know of.

No offense to the keep her stock crowd but the dam things have always sucked I found in first second and third gens. The fourth gens aren't that comfortable either in comparrison to other manufacturers. I am not looking to start a flame wa here either.- Just lookin for input.

Has anyone tried installing any other manufacturers seats in their cars and how did it work?

I primarily am thinking of mopar seats from an 89-92 shelby daytona, pacifica 87-88 or an ES 89-93. Those have to be the best bolstered stock seats I ever used in car. You can d go for ages and not feel pain and be held comfortably in those sports enthusiast seats they have in the Turbo daytonas.

Theres a guy on fbody.com that used leather seats from an Audi TT

Looked great, no seatbelt loops thou, and it took forever to fit the rear seat back. Whole weekend if i remember right

I have to disagree with you, 3rd gen seats that have been used for 20 years are IMO not that comfortable unles they have been used lightly. I bought leather seats from a 95 Camaro and they are secdond to none, GM!

The audi seats look nice. I'll keep an eye out for them. Tough finding one in yards here though.

I am looking at a set of 89-90 grey Leather Shelby daytona seats for mine possibly 89 or 90 lebaron leathers also. The 89 series enthusiast power seats in a daytona 8 way are some of the most comfortable seats I ever used especially on long hauls.

They have lumbar, side and back supports in them to hug you tight. 8 hours on them driving highway was no problem. I might check the srt4 leather seats out too since the stock neon seats are really good as well.

The 90's are different but still good.
