Moving stripped vehicle to paint shop
Moving stripped vehicle to paint shop
may be a stupid question but,,,u guys that have painted ur cars at a maaco or anywhere else - do u bring it to the shop first and then start removing everything (lights, etc) or do u do it beforehand and somehow bring it there? i am wonderin b/c my shop is kinda far and i dont wanna be calling a flatbed to carry my car there and have to pay a fortune. there doesnt seem to be a lot to remove. taillights, side parking lights, headlight assemblies is the obvious. i'd have to go outside and look at it to see what else.

Strip it at home and bring it to the paint shop. I even pulled the engine/trans and windshield out of mine.
You know how I got the car to my painter? AAA. I called them and told them my car wouldn't start & I needed it towed.
