can i put a 85-90 trans am gta front bumper on my 91 firebird. Also which bumper do yall think looks better.

 

You 'can' but youll need the matching year ground effects to look right

I call dibs on your old 91-92 front fender gfx if you do

Banshee bumper looks better in IMHO

85-90 bumper looks like a snowplow with fog lights

 

my ground effects are busted anyway so i need to get new ones.

someone backed into me and bent my bumper, so i wanted to see what options i had

is it a exact swap or do i need different brackets or anything

 

The 85-90 has a diff underside mounting and fog light mounting and foglight units

The front ground fx for 85-90 are slip over so youll have to drill holes in your fenders for the clip

Youll also want the front air dam and inner plastic pieces that direct air to the rad

BTW.. if someone backed into you, why not use ins money to buy NEW OEM front fender gfx? The 91-92 bumper looks best IMHO especially with a non vented hood

 

it was a hit and run so ins. wont pay for it and im trying to spend as little money as possible

 

i do like the banshee bumper but i dont think it will look good with a ram air hood (future plans)
