SS Hood Pricing...
I'm in the market for an SS hood for my '89 Camaro.
Checked Hawks, F-body MS, Ebay, CarHoods
Best # I can find is $425 + S&H
Anyone know of sites that sell this hood cheaper?

just so you know - many different companies make the same hood. Instead of judging on price (which I know most thirdgenners do), judge on quality and customer service. For that - Hawk's will be your answer. All fiberglass parts are NOT created equal.

I purchased my first hood from Hawks and it was a piece of crap. The fittment was very poor. At the front where it latches, the hood wouldn't latch because it wasn't curved right. Thats besides all of the waves down the side where the hood and fender didn't align properly. This was on a car that had never been in a wreck of minor fender bender. So i sent that hood back and ordered one from ASCD that fit like a glove. I also a few years back ordered the BB hood for my 95. I say go for ASCD its worth it.
