the great seat debate

Alright, I've done the whole thing, and basically not found the answers I'm looking for, so I'll ask here and see what I get. I'm good with a link if there is already a thread.

Heres what I'm working over. My drivers seat is completely shot, and needs either immediate reupholstery or replacement. I've looked on e-bay and various sites and found several replacement seat options. What is the quality of these seats in general, and does anyone have specific recommendations? Keep in mind, my car is a daily driver and I drive at least an hour each direction to and from work, so I do want some comfort.

Second option is, I found seats from a 97 trans am. They need cleaning, but would work fine. I know 4th gen seats work in 3rd gen, but is there any problems going from birds to 'maros? I suspect not, but I'd rather not assume.

Last, has anyone used Wet Okole seat covers? If so, what is the quality and durability? They make them for our cars, and I've been intrigued by them for some time, and it might be a reasonable alternative to trading out my seats. I have a good friend of the family who does upholstery (40 years experience), so rebuilding the cushoning won't be a big deal for him. Here is a sample photo of their stuff:

4th gen trans am seats do fit. the only difference between camaro and firebird seats in 4th gens are that the camaro has no adjustable headrest and the firebirds do. I also think the firebird seats are alot more comfortable than the camaro seats.

The Wet Okle covers are durable, extremely comfortable, and fairly stupid looking. 2 out of 3 ain't bad.

I was goin thru the same delima, but I have chosen to recover my seats, but with a custom look. I checked out many different seats out there, and found that after you have your mounting brackets welded onto your new seats and the price of a good comfortable seat, it comes out to about the same price. Plus you get the exact pattern you want, and they also can add some extra padding while recovering.

ALL 3rd and 4th gen seats are interchangable except for the split seat rear option was 3rd gen only

Id take those out and put em in storage cuz nice Fiero parts, especially seats are VERY sought after with big pockets cuz most are deteriorating

Not the ones with built in speaker headrests are they?
