2 big allen head bolts hold the armrests on the door. Take those out. There should be 3-4 smallish torx screws holding the handle/lock assembly. Take those out too. Use a small flatblade screwdriver to remove the sliding lock indicator from the actual lock rod itself. Take the handle/lock assembly out now. Starting down at the bottom rear corner, gently pry your door panel away from the door. There should be 10-12 plastic push rivets holding the panel to the door all around the sides/bottom. Once all of those have been pulled out, the only thing holding the panel to the door should be the top plastic trim piece. Slide the whole works about an inch or so twoards the back of the car and you should be able to lift it all off the door now.

Go have a beer. You are done.

last i remember the arm rest was held on by 3 large torx head bolts. Also there is a screw behind the door lock button panel, it also is torx, head, it is the one near the mirrior control. But what he described is the whole process to it.

Ah, you are right. It is three. 2 in the armrest part and 1 up at the top.

Related question, how do I remove the door-trim panels? Do they just come off with force or do I need to open the door from the inside?
