do they make outside door handles that say pontiac or firebird? I thought it would look go to change the plain faded black ones on my 91 bird for black ones that said pontiac or firebird i think i seen some before i dont remember though.

 

They used to sell the rubber inserts but I don't know if they do anymore. I have a set I pulled that say Firebird in good condition, let me know if you are interested after you get other answers.

 

i would say just go to a store that makes banners and stickers and stuff and get them to make you one that will fit in the square indention in your door handles. that would be easiest and cheapest prolly. you might even be able to make it on your computer if you get some of the paper.

 

Mine say pontiac, I'm not sure if they came stock or not. I havent seen them on many other cars.

 

I heard from a friend of mine that an auto parts store can get the stickers that say pontiac or firebird, but your better off just buying another set from one of these guys, better than painting and all that. There pretty easy to take off and replace too.

 

Stickers fall off, the rubberized emblems are meant to stand the test of time. The rubberized emblems on most of our cars are still intact but if they were just stickers they would have been gone along time ago.

 

you could always pull off some chrome ones from a junked gm.. i put those on my car, looks pretty sweet.
