Need shaved door kit, but i have an alarm
I'me looking to shave my door handles, but all the kits come with a remote kit, and i have an alarm. I'm putting in the viper 791xv 2 way kit in at the same time. I don't want to have 2 remotes. I've searched, and i just want to know if anyone found a kit with only the solenoids and the poppers that are relyable. In my searching, i've only seen quality companies sell the entire remote kits.

I'd like to do the same thing, but since I've not done it yet, I don't have too much to offer other than the 791XV has many auxiliary channels available. As long as the door popper kit has an aux input, you can tie the two together and use just the Viper remote.
And in case you're putting it in yourself, here's how I did it:

yeah, i'm doing it myself. I've searched the net, but never seen many reviews for the alarm. Do you like it?
Is the 1/4 mile range true? Thanks alot.

I love it! I didn't even want the remote start, but still end up using it multiple times a day. Scrapmaker has either the 790 or the 791 as well.
The 1/4 mile is true on the best of conditions: full battery, clear line of sight to the vehicle. Choosing a proper mounting location for the antenna is critical to range in all car alarms. I stuck it above the rear view mirror. I'm sure there are better places, but it's not bad & works for me. Remote runs on one AAA, I think, and the Energizer alkalines I use fall down to ~75% power after about 2 months.
If you use my schematic to install it, be aware that my car is a 1991 RS with the LO3, but there should be little difference to your vehicle. Also know that unless a certified DEI dealer installs the alarm, there is no warranty. The power window control module is a separate purchase (got mine for $60, IIRC). Extremely easy hookup on that one. I have a schematic lying around here for that as well:

I bought five relays and only needed two for the install. I'm saving the rest for fun stull I decide to do in the future with the alarm's extra AUX channels.
