Power Window Motor

I'm having a real problem changing out the pwoer window motor on the passenger side of my 83 TA. I have a couple of questions about this repair.
1. Is there a left and right side motor or is there on motor part for both sides?
2. Can the motor be removed w/o modifying the door? In removing and installing the new motor can a open up a hole in the sheet metal of the door to gain access?

How in the H**l do you do this?

Any info is appreciated.
