Rear hatch panel thoughts...

Has anyone ever tried installing a rear hatch panel (the one on the hatch itself) from a 4th gen camaro or bird. Our stock thirdgen panels are lacking something if you ask me. Either that or does anyone just run without one. If so were you somehow able to retain the security cover? Share your knowledge, ideas, and pictures...

Thirdgens do have a soft and/or locking hard cover for the rear well--but as you suggest, they're not as handy as the ones on the fourthgen cars.

I'm not talking about a locking rear hatch cover- I mean the plastic panel that's on the hatch itself. The one that hides the nuts and studs to the spoiler. It's also the one that the roll-out security cover can attach to providing the provision came with your vehicle.
