Hello everyone,

well i just purchased a set of aero ground effects for the sides of the car and i'm bidding on a front chin spoiler right now also. I've been wanting to put the aero kit on my 86 Z for some time now and I was wondering if I am going to need the rear quarter and rear bumper to have the complete kit? Will it look wierd if I leave my original bumper on the car or should I change out the entire body kit? Just wondering what you guys who've done the change already decided on.

I had a similar post recently with a similar question.

I've come to the conclusion after looking at countless pics of old and newer style GFX that your best bet would be to do the whole kit upgrade, not just the sides and chin.

Don't ask me why, it's just what I've come up with. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

you really need to upgrade the entire gfx set.. the 91-92 qp pieces and bumper are 'beveled' as the 85-90 are smoother.

check out my 87's cardomain for more pictures mine is the way your talking about, unfortunately there arent any 91-92 rear bumper covers in the area and it costs alot to ship so i havent got around to changing it all yet.

im upgrading my gfx on my 88 RS to Aero, but im leaving the rear bumper gfx also. it looks fine IMO
