question about 3rd gen to 4th gen seats.....
I swapped out my seats for 4th gen ones.
The back seats were a piece of cake, but the fronts were not a direct replacement, in that the feet on the seat tracks are not the same, and thus the plastic covers do not screw onto the new seats to cover the ugly rusted bolts.
On the passenger side, it was easy enough -- i just swapped tracks. But the driver's seat track has more features that my old one didn't -- so I left it, and the seat bolts are showing.
Does anyone have pictures, part numbers, or a description of what sort of cover the 4th gens use to hide those bolts?

They were still on the 99 TA parts car I have out front. Yes they are as ugly as they sounded.

lol, thanks for the picture.
those things look terrible, i'm glad my old pieces are intact.
i think they will either fit or i can cut them to fit and drill some holes for the screws. at least now i know i'm doing the best i can.
by the way....
what was pontiac thinking? if you can't improve on the older model -- DONT CHANGE IT!
