Bent Window Track

Alright my passenger window track is dent so that there is a large gap between the window and the weatherstripping. This happened because the front stop quit stopping the window so that the window went to high. This caused the window to be shut inncorrectly bending the track.

I can't adjust the guides enough to fix the problem.

Should I remove the tracks from my window and try to bend them back?
Or take a complete setup out of properly adjusted door (ie by a whole door and switch internals)?

Anything's possible, I guess, but I'd be surprised if the track itself is bent. Have you had the door panel off to verify?

I've had it off numerous times. I guess track isn't quite the right term. Its actually bar that crosses to make an X and rides in the track. The part that actually holds the window, if that makes more sense.

I suspect that would also be difficult to bend. Have you compared the guts of both doors?

I've compared doors in the past but I've never had the panels off at the same time. Is it even possible to remove the arms that hold the glass?

Its been awhile, but I plan on taking both door panels off on Saturday evening and take a bunch of pictures. Now that winter is ending the rainy season begins.
