I was thinking about getting a map pocket for my camaro. However i know that they all are for firebirds, trans ams, and gtas. If anyone has these could they please post pics of them.

well the camaro got them only one year it was just a 20th anniversary. i was woundering about one also. is there a hole in the firebird dash or something to hole it on?

 

I found a black map pocket in the scrapyard that didn't have the emblem etched into it. Marked the spots for the holes, on my dash & drilled them out. The pocket was held on with friction clips similar to the ones on the door panels

Here's my IROC. I did pretty much what CDN did, but placed it elsewhere.

I have 2 but never installed them.

 

Ive seen ones all flush and flat like the pics already shown and ones with an extra half pocket on the front with a side opening. Is it a difference between years or is the flush one for the doors and the one with the extra half pocket for the dash?

Also what would a fair price on one of these be?

 

I believe they were all dashed mounted on Firebirds, etc. I chose to mount mine on the door panel. I purchased mine for $5.00 (perhaps $10).
