If you know enough to know of the plastic tabs, you dont need a full step-by-step then. My advice for those is to take an old fork and cut out the 2 middle tines. You should be able to slide the modified fork around the plastic push pins so you can pull them out without damaging the cardboard. Once all the plastic pins are pulled out, pull the bottom of the door panel out slightly and slide the whole assembly twoards the back of the car about an inch. You should be able to tilt the black plastic window trim piece back and lift the entire thing away from the door.

make sure the wndow is down, and you have to push in on the black piece as you're pulling up on it. you may have to do one side first, and put something there to keep it from going back into the door, then do the other side. some times, it can be a pain in the *ss

You can buy a CHEAP tool for popping the little plastic "christmas trees" away from the door.

After you have removed your outside door hardware (pull handles and plastics), you can start by popping the door panel. .When you have popped them all off (christmas trees), lift and pull the door panel carefully and it will come off of the door.

Hmm, now Im wondering how difficult it is to dye the panels.

Ive got a BRIGHT red interior on the 91 z28 and Id like to convert it to black/grey like the post by another guy recently....took his interior which looks identical to mine and re did it all, and it looked SHARP.
