Removing rear seats
Removing rear seats
Hey guys,
so far I have stripped the interior of my car, removed plastics and carpet from the back. What I'm trying to do is remove the rear seat but I can't seem to see any brackets or bolts to remove. Does anyone know where they are hiding?

The bottom seats or the tops?
For the bottom:
In the middle of the front of the seat, under it, is the bolt.. That might not make sense, so I'll clarify.. Standing, looking at the rear seats: right next to the floor is what I mean by under the seat. This is where your feet go. In the middle of the seat, looking towards the rar of the car, feel right at the bottom of the seat, moving the foam around a bit.. There's a bolt there. Unscrew it, and the bottom piece comes off.
For the tops, and this is on a split rear seat car, it may be different..
After you get the bottoms out, look on the far left and far right, where they pivot. You'l see a bracket, a bolt, and a net. Take off the nut, and the seat will essentially come loose. It's also attacched to a rod kind of, to provide the center pivot point..
This is a bit confusing I think, but it should be relatively easy once you look around in the car for what I said.
