Just got me a set of Gto seats,Has anyone else got a pair in their
3rd gen?They look so sweet,I wanted a set of C6 vette seats but no way was I going to pay a grand for them.I wount be puting these in until I get my SS hood and get it painted.

 

Are you sure they will fit? I thought that GTO seats were a lot wider than stock ones...

 

Pics would be great, we have alot of probs with other seats fitting properly in our cars and if you made them work show us.

I drooled after driving the new 04's(was looking to buy but im no idiot and will not buy first year anything lol)

Seats are awesome. One fo the most comfortable cars I have been in and I'm big.

6'6, 250#'s and my butt fit so nice in them seats lol.

Let us know how it goes, and if you have any more leads on GTO seats, let me know.

I agree, i sat in one and thought OMG, best seats ive ever sat in.

 

They don't feel any wider but I measure them both

 

What color combination did you get?

I saw the red ones for the first time yesterday, and even though I am keeping the interior all black, they looked great.

What does the rest of your interior look like.

Post some pics when you get them installed.

Oh yeah, how much do they weigh... If they work then that will be my next purchase. I am looking for seats already, so I might as well get those if they fit.

where'd you find a set of C6 seats for 1000? IIRC they dont fit well in our cars, but damn I spent nearly 900 for my 01 TA seats....be nice to have some new vette seats

 

Those are the most comfortable seats I've ever sat in..

I got a pair of black seats.The GTO seats measure at 23 inchs
wide and they feel great.When it warms up some i'll do a test fit.

 

bumping this thread to see if anyone ever isntalled any? I searched and coudln't find anyone with gto seats in a thirdgen.
