Bonding plastic to metal...for fender vents

I want to put in (plastic/urethane) fender vents and have them them be seamless or molded in. I've heard Fusor and SEM products are good. There seems to be a lot of products under those 2 brands to chose from. Which ones are good to go with? Has anyone done this kind of bonding and how long has it held without cracking? Any other things i should do...like notch out the metal slightly???

I'm very interested in this also. I was considering making fiberglass vent pieces because they may bond and be easier to blend into the metal fenders.
