plastic, lighter than glass and they get spider web cracks

 

I wanted to know what models and what years they come on,and how to spot them.

Well,
They came out much earlier than that.
A few 1989 20th Anniversary Turbo Trans Ams got them.
There was a recall on them, and alot were changed over to glass.

no kidding about the spider webbing!

If u look at them wrong they will crack

 

dont get scared about the cracks the t-tops hold together and you can not see them from the outside.

You can see them through the inside and they may freak you out a bit at night with the street lights

My 89 had lexan t-tops. Matching key so I guess they were stock.

 

Any help on the different sizes? I have a 92 w/ lexan that have all the cracks & scratches. I got a set of glass tops not sure on the year but the pins are the correct size. The problem is that the tops do not have the edge on the front and back like the lexan and this makes them not wide enough from front to back and they dont seal. Any help?
