a guy at our local sonic car show offered me one of those ram-air hoods for my 91 t/a. he said its glass (obviosly) and is white right now, but i guess he also has all the stuff to make the ram-air funtional i.e. inlet tubing and air filter. my question is,

what do you think its worth?
what should i offer him?

from what i hear, the hoods never been used, so im guessing its in great shape, but i still have to look at it. so what do you guys think?

 

Last time I checked them they were going brand new for like $400 somethin on hawks and close to that on fbodymotorsports. Id offer $200, thats a decent price since you have to take a gamble on whether its new or not and sight unseen.

 

yeah, i said i wanted to take a look at it before i bought it, but im pretty sure its not very used, if not at all. so well see, 200 bones sounded about right to me so im not gonna offer him anything more then that. after all, i dont NEED it you know.

 

Yea man, Id stick to 200. Its one of those things where you dont NEED it but hell you WANT it. Theyre badass hoods !!!

 

yeah, i talked to my neighbor (who's his friend) and he said he'd have to think about it because its nice, but i said that my offer was there, and if he didn't like it, then dont sell it to me.

but all he's got is a camaro, so im sure i'll have it sooner or later.
