Seat Bracket, Where can I get?

I have a 1992 Camaro with very nice tan leather interior. however, a few months ago I was in hit-in-the-rear accident, and my weight actually BROKE the bracket for the seat. The seat is constantly leaning back now. I'm wondering where I can get this bracket (connecting the bottom portion of seat to top portion). I really need this fixed, as it's about to become a DD for my girlfriend.

Thanks.

Bracket inside the seat or the tracks?

If its inside the seat, Id suggest grabbin a torn up seat thats not broken and swap the seat covers (velcros and zippers hold em on)

Seat track has 4x 13mm bolts holdin it to the bottom of the seat

Hope that helps

You best and cheapest fix is a trip to your local junk yard, if you have no access to one PM me and I have the parts.

I was at the local U-Pick junkyard not too long ago. There was one thirdgen there, and it was gutted like crazy.

Honestly, I'm not sure which part I need, I just know the seat is permanantly set in a lowered position. It locks in, but.. it won't come up any higher. It's almost as if the "gears" (no idea what you would call them) are broken. It will lock into place farther down, but not any higher up. If that gives you some sort of idea.

82 Iron Duke, if you know what the problem is, and you have the part, PLEASE IM me on AIM if possible. Screenname: LevineXB I'd really like to get it fixed before my GF starts driving it around. It didn't bother me, but, I'd rather her be safe.

You can try Hawks third Gen parts, Second ad down on the right, they got pretty much everything. Might try unbolting the seat and checking out the seat bracket on the bottom bolted to the floor and if that's not the culprit then you know it's the seat bracket in the seat. Hawks carries all that stuff, they can probably help you.
