painting door jams
My one big ? is; If I paint the door jams first and then the body, how do I keep from having a tape line in the jams. I would like to have a smooth look.

I have heard and seen a few differnt ways to go about this.. I paint from the A piller down the rocker and stop were the seam for the 1/4 is. Than when i paint the outside i'll paint that part. No lines at all.
I have seen people do the jams last. another way isUsing that foam tape it works but is not cheap.

Its foam that is sticky on one side. When u put it in the jam and than close the door it seals it up. So U don't havve to mask everything .
