Bending Brake / Clutch Pedals...
Hey Everyone,
I just got a set of custom kick panels made. They house a 6.5" component speaker set. Unfortunately, they stick out very far & my size 13 foot barely has enough room to fit between the brake pedal & speaker now. Im trying to think of ways to increase the room in there. The kick panels are custom made of fiberglass & carpet so modifying them is not an option. Is it possible/safe to bend the clutch & brake pedal over a bit to increase clearance? Will this weaken the brake pedal? Any other ideas?

I would not try to bend that its attached to the brake master cylinder with 4 bolts.
Also they have to be lined up correctly to when they engage the push rod for the clutch master and also brake master cylinder.
If you can take the whole assembly apart you probably could cut and
re weld it if it doesnt interfere with the gas pedal. It would be very hard to
bend those pedals correctly anyway there very sturdy for a reason..
I would get rid of the custom kick panel or get one made that fits
better for your feet.
