leaky fuel filler

When I fill my camaro up with gas, it leakes like crazy from somewhere up high in the quarter panel, like it's something right behind the gas cap. Is there a seal or something somewhere in there between the filler neck and tank that might be bad on the car?

After it's driven a few miles, the leaking stops, but the car almost always smells like gas.

Thanks in advance.

It could be alot of things, Theres feed lines, return lines all in that area if it doesnt affect the cars performance it may just be a return line, those are low pressure, as to the feed line has 40 or so psi in it, I suppose is get a friend or someone to look under it ( with some safety glasses on lol it is gas) And see where it is coming from theres a rubber line that crimps into a steel 3/8 you may be lucky and it might be that one, Let us know, hope this helps

Now thats the lines that could be spraying, of course the main Fill tube ( sorry dont have tech terms) could be your culprit as well you gotta have someone under there

I parked the car on an incline yesterday, and looked up under it. It looked like it was leaking where the filler neck goes into the tank. Can I access that area through the fuel filler door, or will I have to drop the tank?
