Body How-To Vids Anywhere?

I have a white 85 trans am that needs painted and instead of saving up the rediculous amount to have it done professionally I was thinking of doing it myself. I have no experiance in body work but im willing to take the time to learn and do it right. Theres only some minor blemishes on the body, small surface rust spots above the rear wheels and a small dent in the door I should be able to get out without much trouble.

My first question is, as a newbie to body work is this something doable for me? Also I dont have a garage accessible to me, the closest thing is my dads two car car port. Is it too risky to do paint work without the full protection of a garage?

And my last question and the reason for making this thread is does anyone know of any body work videos on the web that could help me (sanding, priming, painting, clear coating anything really would help)?

(And yes I already tried to use the search feature and wasnt able to find anything relevent but maybe I just didnt use the right terms sorry if I missed something that was already posted like this.)

i'm ordering a few from Motorbooks.com - Books available on automotive, motorcycles, aircraft, auto racing, trucks, trains, boats, airplanes, tractors, cars and bicycles. i think they look worth it, im gonna paint my ride myself also...
i also signed up for some online body and paint classes at Penn Foster Career School | Affordable, Self-Paced, Career-Focused, Distance Education Programs
it will save me about 5k on a paint job... good luck

the east wood company makes videos. Eastwood Company: Auto Tools, Body Repair, Classic Car Restoration, House of Kolor Paint, Powder Coating. For not haveing a garage well u kinda do need one. Not only to get a somewhat clean paint job. But to store all your tools. (air compressor ,welder, ectect) U could paint in that car port just get some thick plastic and hang it up to inclose it. The next thing is can u paint in your town? Threre will be alot of fumes and overspray. If a epa guy saw it or someone reported u cuz u got paint on there house u could get tickets.... If I was u I would do the body work take everything off the car and take it to a macco or find someone that does side work and have them paint it for u.
Know u y body shop charge so much its not just the painting part.

You can not learn how to do body work online. Theres only one way to learn it. Is to go outside and start sanding. I would buy junky cars to pratice on. Take the grand buy a few books (thats pretty much all that school is going to send u) buy a 100 car and teach yourself how to do bodywork.
