Original Idea - But Has it Been Done?
I am very interested in putting an L-88 scoop on my camaro. My dad has one on his 71 corvette and I think its just great looking. Does anyone have pictures of a camaro (third gen, I've seen a second) with that scoop on? If I put it on the stock hood and dont like it I'm just gonna get a big block hood anyway. But pictures in advance would be nice... What you guys think?

Yeah does anyone know if you use a 34" or 45" L88 cowl for attching to the stock hood? I'm going to be doing this soon and just discovered they make 2 sizes... I guess I'll measure the one on my dads vette but if you know save me the trouble.

I think it looks really good and I wanna see how yours turns out. Good job on trying to do something more original than just a regular cowl.

Me too... I am very interested. I am in need of a cowl hood and was gun ho about getting a Cervini 3". But after I saw that pic above.... man I am rethinking everything..... Too bad it needs to be fabed up. If they had them all in one piece, and made, I would pick one up right away. I am affraid of bond at the seams for a hood that needs to be made, when used on a DD. Anways, WHEREs THE UPDATE!!!
