Any1 make fiberglass doors??

Any1 make fiberglass doors??

Does anybody know of any companies out there that make fiberglass doors for third gen F Bodies??

Transmission: T5, 700R4, powerslide >:(
Axle/Gears: posi, and posi w/discs :D.
i know someone makes them, i just cant think of who it is. i am pretty sure you have to use lexan windows on them though, so its strictly for the track.

pretty sure its harwood that makes them.. and you can use glass windows in them as well, there are just two different models 1 for lexan 1 for glass..

Check out this company Glasstek Fiberglass Body Components & Preformed Lexan Windows They have them but probaly for strip only.

You really should consider safety when using fiberglass doors. Unless this is purely for the track and you have a proper roll cage.....well ya.

yeah, i deffinetly agree. if you have fiberglass doors, you should have a cage aswell. and at least an 8 point at that

and what about the newer cars with fiberglass doors, like the majority?

Im pretty sure its the actual door support behind the door that keeps us safe. Or are we talking about more then just the skin of the door? Id think you could still have fiberglass doors with steel supports.

the deal with fibreglass doors being safe in new cars is simple. take fourth gens for example, the doors are composite, both the skin and shell are composite. there is a metal beam much like you would find in any metal door inside to help protect the ocupants in side impacts. i wouldnt run fibreglass doors on my car unless they had impact bars of i had at least a 8 point cage. they would be cool to have tho.
