Interior Light fasteners

What type of nut/fastener holds the interior light in? there are little steel pegs with no threads on them. The original fasteners are long gone. Anyone?
thanks

Is it a metal self cutting nut? or a plastic thing that is friction fit?

It's a speed nut. The stock ones are round but you can use the square ones also.
