i have a 84 pontiac firebird and it has chrome door handles with say firebird, i looked at many birds and the have black handles, is this a rare option? also the car has a domelight which looks like a 81' t/a's with the map lights. if anyone knows anything plz let me know.

 

The chrome handles are probably aftermarket.

 

i have no idea, did they have chrome packages on these cars?

 

My old 84 Firebird V6 had, and my buddies 82 Firebird 4 cylinder both have chrome door handles.

 

I believe the base firebirds got chrome handles...wouldn't call it rare. I've seen a few in the junkyard with chrome handles, all were base Firebirds. Classic Industries have both black and chrome.
