NO rust on floor. Because there are none.

Hi,

I purchased a trans am last year. But with my un-experience with these types of cars. I pulled up the carpet and most of the floor is rusted right out. Theres even a big hole in underneath the rear seats. (driver side)

It's to bad because the car actually runs really good. And the rest of the body is in good shape. Is there anyhope of saving this car. I could see replacing the floor pans not being to hard. But what about underneath the rear seats. I can even see the frame rail from the inside

I bought a car like that. Good ole leaking t-tops!! You should be able to get a full floor pan and probably have some metal fab'd up for other places.

Classic Industries sells complete floor pans or you can go to a local yard and have them cut you out one from a car there.

I see alot of people replacing the front to the back seat part of the floor pan. that looks easy enough. But what I need is under the rear seat. Nobody sells any pans for that.

Is that part of the unybody. Also at the rear seat over to the seat belt theres nothing left. The framerail is staring back at me. YIKES.

Also the floor pan isnt even connected to the side of the car anymore.

HAHAH what a mess. Any ideas. Im geussing I would have to make all new medal.
