Shifter plate

From what I understand (I could be wrong) but GM made the shifter plate separate in 1991. I would like to know if this is true because mine is busted (broken needle) I bought the fbody cd but I cannot find it on there. Is there anything that really works to epoxy it back together? It is broken where the needle comes out. Or is there some other alternative?

Is there a part # for the shifter plate for a 1991 GTA or do you have to get the entire console? Anybody?

You don't need an entire console. The shifter plate is a separate part and can be replaced. But good, unbroken shifter plates are hard to find in junkyards, so one of your best options would be contacting Tom at House of Camaro, Home
