the bottom of the fender bolts onto the area that boneheads all over the world try to use as a jacking spot, something can be worked out to fix the fender but the problem is they end up crushing the floor pan usually, could be somewhat difficult to get that back into shape

i had to rough mine out with a hammer when I put my subframe connectors in

Suprised there's not more on this.. Common problem I'd assume. This happen to me when the jacka$$ who wielded my custom y-pipe together had it on his lift. Went to pick up my bird and noticed it right away. Guy (who came highly recommend) played dumb. I'm about to go into the booth and this is really the only thing I need to take care of prior considering the rest of the car is rust and dent free. Going to try this "channel locks" method in the am. If it works out I'll post some pics of the how and where.

Re: fender bulge!

Both sides of my car had this happen, the passenger side fender was so messed up from it there was 1/2" of bondo I think to get the shape back... Only bondo that I've found on the car though.

Where I live we have to do yearly inspections, and I have quite a strict list of where NOT to jack the car up from... Makes me nervous every single time... I'm just waiting for some know it all apprentice to put the lift under the subframe connectors and rip them off the torque boxes... Then there will be some huge issues for that shop.
