Fixing doors,weatherstripping, hatch trim...

Hey, Just looking for some places that would sell weather stripping, pretty much just for the two doors, as the hatch doesn't seem to have taken much abuse. Also, the trim around the hatch is becoming faded and could use some touching up, was wondering if anyone knows if it comes off? It appears that its just a screw on each side of the latch end and then it slides off, is that so? Also, my drivers side door is saging, as happens on these old things, wonderin if anyone has found a good place with a hardened pin/bushing kit, perferably for both doors, as the other is bound to do the same thing eventually. If anyone's done this and has some good places I could use the tips, thanks, and good day.

A search for weatherstrip will suggest that GM and Soffseal brands are your best bets. A search for sagging doors will give you hits regarding greasable heavy-duty hinge kits that will fix those doors for good.

As far as the metal trim around the hatch, I couldn't help you there. Try those screws and see what happens.

I started down this path when my IROC was repainted. The hatch trim is removalble but not an easy afternoon job. Dont do it unless you want to pony up about $500+ for a brand new trim piece from GM as this piece is not yet being reproduced. Unless yours is badly rusted, clean it up and repaint it. If it is badly rusted, look for an entire replacement hatch with the trim from a wrecking yard. It's much easier and cheaper to repaint the deck lid, spoiler and trim.
