Three quick Headliner Instal Qs

Ok. I finally bought a new headliner (t-top). I have three questions about its install:

1. The instructions that came with it say to cut Xs for the sun visor mount, dome light, and seat belt openings. Then, tape or glue the flaps over to the back. Is this necessary?

2. What kind of glue can I use for little "touch-ups" (besides spray!)?

3. Do I have to remove those big trim panels in the rear seat area that go around the cargo shade?

Thanks!

1. only way to get those items through. you may have to cut line to get seatbelt into opening too.

3. no, but you should take off the black pillar piece that hold the top part of that section up. then remove speaker panel and just let it fall down while you install new headliner.

Thanks, but of course I have to cut the openings. Do they need to be "finished" off nice by rolling the material around the plastic? Guess I'll make that decision by looking at the old one.

its probably a good idea, it might help keep the fabric tighter over time.
