Hatch pull down motor ???
Guys, I got an all original 89 RS, with the V8, auto. My hatch pulldown has quit working , so now I cant even close my hatch. Anyone know where I can get this at? Seen a few on Ebay for under $50, are they worth it ???

50 ant that bad, i have seen them go for as much as $250+ on ebay, there really hard to find in junk yards, i have a spare if you want give me a pm.

The thing about buying a used one on eBay is you have no assurance besides the usual "worked good when I removed it" from the seller. Bid on it, get it shipped to you and it fails soon after. Bad guides are just one common problem This leads to the latch portion going out of alignment or jamming and the gear nut is shreaded.
A better option is to repair yours. I sell all the parts you'd need to repair it.
