Will a 88 Firebird dash pad fit a 92 Camaro?

I tried putting a firebird dash on a camaro once, the front holes lined up, but there was no bolting it on at the windshield. was an inch or so shorter too.

They are close but not interchangable. I found a blemish free Firebird dash at the junk yard. I was all excited about it until I tried to install it in my Camaro. Now I'm stuck with a firebird dash. Or should I buy a Firebird that needs a new dash?

I found a nice Firebird pad at the junkyard yesterday, I was hoping it would work.

$45? I would have gotten it in a heartbeat. Have you seen how much these things go for on ebay latley? my friend just sold a camaro dash with a small crack for $300, I recently sold a perfect one for $250. I'm glad my camaro already has a perfect one!

The deal as I was told from an earlier post...

82-84 Camaro / Firebird were interchangeable... 85-92 not...

Selling an excellent condition Firebird Formula dash, inadvertantly bought for my Camaro. Would gladly trade for an excellent condition Camaro dash, as well. :-P
