Lower GM door hinges... 2 holes vs. 3?
I just bought some new lower door hinges from GM, as my detent rollers were shot, and I see that there are only two bolt holes instead of three like my original hinges. I don't mind drilling a tapping a third one, but I was just curious why they only gave me two holes?

With a little patience the door can be aligned without drilling the 3rd hole in the replacement body side lower bracket. Bad upper hinge pin bushings usually affect and or accelerated wear of the lower. Replace the upper hinge pin / bushings while your at it. Lon sells a great repair kit. Top-DownSolutions.com
