Axle/Gears: 10 bolt 2.77 open
hatch lock replacement
can i use a hatch lock assembly from a 4th gen on my 3rd gen?

Dont know bout that one, did a lot of reading on it, and according to some of the peeps in here, they actually changed the set up after the 89 models. I went on ebay and purchased the whole motor assembly, and new lock, all for around $75. It works and fit just like factory equip. and after further inspection, it was actually made by the same manufacturer of the original stuff.
