My friend works at an autobody supply store and picked me up some Dupont Centari paint, I wanted a dual stage paint and this stuff is apparently single stage. So my question is whats stopping me from spraying clear coat after this paint? Or will I have some problems?

 

Well...if your using a single stage paint, it doesn't require a clear coat. So, why clear it if it's not needed? I painted my car with Centari (basically because it was cheap) but if I had to do it all over again, I would go baseclear just because it's so much easier to shoot then enamel (single stage). Baseclear buffs up sooooo easy..and enamel is so hard to buff...but it can be done:
