need to know how to: put 4th gen console in my third gen

i have a 91 rs with a 700r4 and i was wandering what 4th gen console will fit in my car and what is needed and how much fab is required and how good does it fit thanks and if you have pics please post them.

Transmission: 4L60

Well, I also have a 91 Z28, and am putting an auto center console from a 94 Bird in it. So far I have moved the shifter back about 2". It still needs to be moved a tad, toward the driver I think about 2" or so, and it should fit fairly nicely I thinik. See this post for pics ...
