Can I replace the Lexan tops on my '91 with any 82-92 glass top?

I've seen ads on ebay that state there are 2 different types of mechanisms for latching glass vs. lexan t-tops. Is this true? What do I need to do to ensure I get the right top for my car? I hate the lexan...I had glass on my '89 RS (swapped under factory warranty...the lexan were cracking when brand new!!!) and my '89 Formula...I have no interest in the lexan, and want to buy glass ones on ebay.

Any help is sincerely appreciated.

The glass ones are way nicer than the cheap looking lexan.
There are different styles. If your rs is like mine you have the pin style. I switched to glass removed from an 88 iroc, but check with the seller first.

Be aware there are 2 types of factory pin style t-tops

Ones with a fat plastic guide and ones without

The pin mechanism is completely swappable if they are not the same style thou

Best of luck
