4th gen seats in a 3rd gen gta?

hey everyone, i've got a 87 gta right now, pulled the seats and bolted up some new ones from a 2000 trans am. the problem i have is that i need someone to tell me what i need to do to get power to the seats. the wire coloring is all different as well as the plugs. we were able to retro fit the air lines for the lumbar but that was about it. i tried doing a search but couldn't find anything specific enough. if any of you could help that would be awesome. i'm 6'5 and i have a power seat that was shipped to me all the way forward on the track. (Not so comfy of a ride at all)

I just put 2002 camaro SS ebony leather seats in my camaro..with the power seats if you had power seats in ur car before just like me, i spliced the connecter from the old seat and the connector from the new seat and i took the connecter from the old seat and connected it to the new seat and spliced and wrapped the wires after they were together in electrical tape, then i just put it into the car and moved the seat all the way back. Then i bolted the seats in.

Hope i was a help to you!

you could try reading the stickies that's what they're there for. at the top of every forum theres at least 1 sticky that applies to that forum, most have about 5 or so

orange positive black negative. do you have a test light, or a multimeter. those are necessities when working on wiring.
