We have a 1982 Camaro Pace car and the dash pad has some cracks. We'd like to replace it, but can't find one to match anywhere. This dash pad has indented lines in the front. Any suggestions on where to find this dash pad? Is it rare or just hard to find? Thanks, and if anyone has a mint one for sale, drop me a line. Thanks! Bill

 

You mean an 82 pace car?

If so, that car has the "early" style dash with those ribs on the front that you described. That dash was only used for the first couple years, so finding one in good shape might be real tough. A newer one will fit, but just doesn't have the 100% accurate appearance.

You may need to have your original one restored by somebody like Just Dashes or somebody similar.

 

Yes, I mean '82 Pace car. Sorry for the typo. I figured it would be hard to find one like this. I'll have to keep looking and in the mean time, I'll contact Just Dashes and see how expensive they are. Thanks so much! Bill
