Dome light door switch

OK, I an installing an NEW overhead console that is taking the place of the dome light. We are installing a web cam, new lights, and speaker/mike in the console. Now we want to hard wire it directly into the power of the car. Anyone know the wiring for an 84 firebird so we can remove the door switches so we have constant power?
Do we re wire after removal? Can we use the wires already there?
Any help here would be great.

When I installed an overhead console in my '87 IROC, the existing dome light power was connected to the console, and the power switches in the console were used to control power at the console. Unless the amps draw of the new components is a lot higher, there should be no need to run additional wiring. If you need to bypass the door switches, any of the accessory "on" posts at the fuse panel should be sufficient.
