shaved front emblem
i was wondering what i would have to do to shave the front emblem on my bumper. i tried searching but didnt come up with anything (i dont like the new search engine). so can anybody chime in and help me out before i paint the bumper? thanks in advance.

well you could just remove it, rough up the little pocket that it was in with 40 grit sand paper, then fill it in with bondo. but since it will need a body line to go through it you would have to create one with the bondo. Not really all that hard but if youve never worked with bondo or have little time working with it it may be hard but it is possible.
I saw a Camaro a few months back that was parked at a gas station with the front emblem off. He did a pretty damn good job, but not my style. Like the guy said before me, it can be done and if you have worked with body filler before it shouldn't be all that hard.

thanks for all the replys, im into the clean look, no emblems no stickers and no moldings. i seen awhile back a guy shaved off the front turn signals and it looked pretty sweet. im not goin that far tho. i was thinking bondo but i was worried that it would crack and pull up if the bumper flexed like if somebody sat or leaned on it. well ill try it out and see how it works out. thanks for the input!

I have done this on my car! I love it - it really looks super smooth. It was really an easy process that was basically described above using body filler.
